If I could be a rain drop, I would kiss each rose of morn;
And slowly trickle down its stem and rest upon a thorn.
If I could be a gust of wind, the kites I’d ride on high;
And hide among the clouds to chase them across sky…
If I could be a rainbow, I would follow the passing storm;
And be a colored arch from sky signaling no norm.
If I could be a butterfly, far and free;
I would touch every flower and flutter close to thee.
If I could be an autumn leaf, my colors Proudly show,
Until the chilling winds of winter lay me beneath the snow.
If I could be a snowflake, on winter’s harsh breath I’d ride;
And take my white blanket and hide at country side!
If I could be a sparrow, the sign of spring that I be;
I’d know I’m always protected, cause His eyes on me!! …
