To my Father and his sudden death…
In a lush, moist blanket of grass I lay.
Gazing at stars, realizing this is-
My only way to cope!
While specks of light that shine through,
The darkness below a call of hope!
My hope shattered! The fiery pain immense,
Through the stream, bearing, possessed the light,
To a new life within!
Quiver for rest, my mind, my body,
For the one I suffered, has flown my rest!
A free spirit in this soul, is why he-
Claims no settle?
I loved him and in his departing,
He saw a piece of metal!
Appearance of strength not able to crack;
My feeling real, and now being locked!
This unending love, a roaring fire;
His silhouette, is my passionate desire!! …
