When I hear this sound that awakens me, intimidating its way into my cloistered night, I write…

A strange face glared at me amongst the trees

As it began to die, away blew all their leaves.

Shadows of the past were everywhere to be seen

How rapturous it is to be a part of this dream.

Voices of ghosts heard through blowing wind that is crisp

Burning wood creates little streaks of wisp.

All of this to be said to be in the past

Yet, upon me a curiosity spell has been cast.

I notice the things not many see.

I love entering the darkness from which most people flee.

We cannot love without fear until we’ve conquered all gloom

If you do not conquer fear, your fate shall be the worst of all doom.

Study the stars, gaze upon the face of moon

Watch, as all around you slowly goes to ruin.

Am I the only one who can sense the scorning?

Won’t anyone else heed mother nature’s warning?

One day our sad, lonely lives will come to an end

Can’t we live in peace until then, so we can gain a friend?

I tell you once, fulfill all you desire and lust,

Before the time comes when you return unto the earth and again

Become dust!! …

I am a professor, a poet, an author, and an immigrant. I am the survival of many political and economical hardship. As a political immigrant, it took me a long time to master the English language and to come to terms that I can never see my family again. "THE PARTING FROM MY FAMILY WAS THE BEGINNING OF A FRIENDSHIP THAN THE END OF OUR FRIDAYS!" My autobiography, "THE RAIN STOPS IN TEXAS" was published in 1997 by Eakin Press. It can be found in Amazon. As Ernest Hemingway says, write about something you know, most of my novels are about cultural difference of the old and new and American style of living compare to my home country. My poetry are in all forms. I write as they come to me. My first draft is always my last draft. "THIS IS MY WORLD, WELCOME!" "THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!"

Let everybody be nice!
