… Not long ago, things were so frail!
Leaves fell silently upon a dusty trail.
Toucan sang a tune that no one could hear!
A snake sheltered quietly somewhere near,
Among the nature’s ground!
Oh, sweet friend, you’re not found!
… In the depth of forest wall is a sound,
From far distance in background.
The crackle of fire brings to me-
The eerie help of a crying tree.
The falling of nature in pain;
Memories of things lost in forest rain!
Death of friendship can not-
Be denied or sought.
Oh, the carelessness has a price to pay-
Of the few ignorant night and day.
With the sanctuary wall-
Justice reigns dismal.
Rainforest shall disappear!
So shall we, can you hear?? …
