When I hear this sound that awakens me, intimidating its way into my cloistered night, I write…

Night is ending.

Moon slowly is ascending;

And in the water’s stream,

I see moon breaking like dream!! …

I am a professor, a poet, an author, and an immigrant. I am the survival of many political and economical hardship. As a political immigrant, it took me a long time to master the English language and to come to terms that I can never see my family again. "THE PARTING FROM MY FAMILY WAS THE BEGINNING OF A FRIENDSHIP THAN THE END OF OUR FRIDAYS!" My autobiography, "THE RAIN STOPS IN TEXAS" was published in 1997 by Eakin Press. It can be found in Amazon. As Ernest Hemingway says, write about something you know, most of my novels are about cultural difference of the old and new and American style of living compare to my home country. My poetry are in all forms. I write as they come to me. My first draft is always my last draft. "THIS IS MY WORLD, WELCOME!" "THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!"

  1. I cannot see the photo but the poem is beautiful!

    • I’ve been having problem with my photos lately. I must do something about it. Thank you for your comment.

      • Sometimes they are there, and sometimes not, even within the same post. For example if there are three photos, one may be visible. Or none of them appear. It does cause one to focus on the words more though. I comment on the poem, and enjoy them alot.

    • Thank you dear Nico for your second comment. It made me feel good amidst this problem I have with photos. What I’ve discovered is that Word Press does this with intent so I can pay money. I perhaps just go away with photos all together if my second attempt connecting Word press does not solve this problem.
      Got bless my friend…

Let everybody be nice!
