When I hear this sound that awakens me, intimidating its way into my cloistered night, I write…

… I look at the EAST tonight;

In memory of what is enshrined in my sight!

I was embellished your love’s delight;

A love of lifeline uniting the two souls together;

To perfect embodiment similar to a feather…

… So sudden, my voice grew cloudy;

By a shadow of a loss, so loudly.

As my heart lifted from my chest,

I looked at the present day in WEST;

To the love affair untraditional by every measure,

An affair no human fragility treasure!

… There is this love carefully compasses my life force,

As a blanket wrapping a new born, soft not coarse!

The love! My mother rocked me gently to sleep!

What a delight! It carried my above, beyond and deep.

Connecting me to a force of life giving,

With the supreme power for my living…

… I looked to my soul tonight,

And there you were standing in light!

You! My soul of soul, my every breath,

My every dream imagined, my little hearth!

… As the tear passed over my face,

I remembered our love affair had no grace!

An affair which was silently passed away!

Ever-since I am confused with dismay!! …

I am a professor, a poet, an author, and an immigrant. I am the survival of many political and economical hardship. As a political immigrant, it took me a long time to master the English language and to come to terms that I can never see my family again. "THE PARTING FROM MY FAMILY WAS THE BEGINNING OF A FRIENDSHIP THAN THE END OF OUR FRIDAYS!" My autobiography, "THE RAIN STOPS IN TEXAS" was published in 1997 by Eakin Press. It can be found in Amazon. As Ernest Hemingway says, write about something you know, most of my novels are about cultural difference of the old and new and American style of living compare to my home country. My poetry are in all forms. I write as they come to me. My first draft is always my last draft. "THIS IS MY WORLD, WELCOME!" "THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!"
