“AS SKY COVERS EARTH…”

Shadow

Do all truth begin in sacrilege shadow?

As sky covers earth, your eyes wear a shadow-

Cast a great light off my shadow.

Wherever I go, whatever I do, there is my shadow.

I am faraway by myself, so is my shadow.

On the mountaintop or deep of water is my shadow.

In my corner of loneliness, gazes at me my shadow.

I run to a basement, escaping from the shadow-

So scary, scary, scary is to be alone with shadow!

Shadow-person

I want to be alone, it’s a must, but there is my shadow.

Something I can’t help, follows me my shadow.

The inherent witness to my life is my shadow,

To see what I do, captures my every move this shadow!

Ubiquitous, infinite, knowing all, my shadow!

Wherever I go, whatever I do, I will see this shadow…

…Like eyes that are watchful, so is my shadow!! …

“HELLO”

hello-1782

Hellos are not heard.

The air is stuffy and unbreathable.

Hands have lost their defense.

Cloudy breaths breathe suspicion.

Hearts full of pain, age from pain.

Glassy trees are like skeleton.

The earth stays bitter.

The sky without roof loose its color.

Sun’s light is immovable.

The beautiful moon seek dreams.

Swollen breasts beat fast.

And the load of night falls on my fragile shoulders!! …

“A NEW DAY”

newday

When the sun rises

A new day is born.

Suddenly I forget about my dreams.

Sleep is still in my eyes

The eyes that are still closed

Since they are still in the night.

From open window

The morning air

Fills my lungs.

Silence slowly yawns.

Before my feet touch the floor,

The warmth of blanket and sheets caress me.

It is time to rise

To chase the sun

And wait for another sunset!! …

“MAN CANNOT HIT ON THE RIGHT TIME TO ACT”

OLD TESTAMENT IS NOT ALL ABOUT WARS! WHEN YOU GET TO THE BOOK OF WISDOM, YOU DISCOVER SO MANY BEAUTIFUL POETRY AND PROSE. THIS IS ONE OF THEM.

1kings1-2-chess2

“1- There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.

2- A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.

3- A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build.

4- A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance.

5- A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them; a time to embrace, and  time to be far from embraces.

6- A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.

7- A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak.

8- A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of the peace.”

“MAGIC OF SMILE”

th2

There it comes morning.

I found myself mourning.

For one, whom I care for,

Had drifted so far and more.

Is it possible our past we could retrace?

So incredible was when we met!

Do you remember how we looked at sunset?

th

Walked for hours, never was enough!

When our talking ended, it was so rough!

Now so faraway, I never thought;

That I miss you, you, I sought.

I remember so many things we shared.

Do you remember how you cared?

Do your remember the love in your eyes?

I never understood our sighs!

Why I had to leaves, to say bye?

Do you remember the tears in our eye?

We were so much alike, yet at the same time,

I never thought I lose you and be sublime.

This should not have happened, you were my dear.

But I lost you, my fault, and came here.

Now we are two strangers, who to blame?

Distant by all that we became!

Can we retrace us and go again,

Or find the magic of smile that was so plain?

“ECHOES OF YESTERDAY”

leaves-blowing-in-the-wind-5119

The wind blows, rustling the leaves

Among trees I hear a voice calls me.

The moon is full and bright.

It cast shadows on walls!

Wall of my darkened, somber thought;

Old dreams, echoes of past, what I’ve sought.

They all here to haunt me of the past.

The early morning sun, the promise that isn’t last!

There is no brighter day, as sun rises in East.

Darkness is chaste away, I see a mist,

Memories become distant as desire,

Like an echo of past, they set me in fire!

A soft, gentle voice, I hear calling me.

Call my name when I am with my tree.

Looking at leaves that rustles with breeze,

Surround me to lean in the arm of ease.

Darkness disappears from night,

And takes my fright out of this sight!
